Gauging Systems
The Whessoe brand is particularly known for its float
gauges used in marine LNG and LPG carriers. While more advanced systems
like radar gauges exist, the industry requires that a backup float gauging
system be installed. In this industry, Whessoe’s supplies about
60-70% of market demand.
The Whessoe group consists of three companies based in Singapore
and Europe:
 Whessoe Systems Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, serves as our technical
sales arm in Singapore and Asia and is a major stockist of
Whessoe marine gauge components. The Company also specialises in the
design, engineer, supply and installation of major cargo systems for
the FPSO/FSO market.- Whessoe Total Automation
Limited,
based in Darlington, U.K., handles all engineering
and sales of Whessoe marine tank gauging systems, and is a major
stockist of Whessoe marine gauge components.
- Whessoe S.A., based in Calais, France, is the headquarters for
the engineering and manufacture of all marine and land based LPG, LNG
gauging systems.

Research & Development / New
Products
Each year, Whessoe S.A.
invests considerable funds in research and development with the aim of
improving its current products and developing new products. A team of
Research and Development engineers cover this requirement.

Portable Tank Gauge
|
After nearly two years, Whessoe S.A.
has successfully produced a new portable tank gauge. This product will be marketed
worldwide but is currently under strenuous “in service”
testing.
