Business Model

Our business is segmented into three main activities:

• Service & Repair
• Project & System Integration
• Manufacturing & Gauging

Over the years, we developed our traditional service & repair skills, and built up the Group in stages to where it is now.

Starting from 1987 to 1993, Total Automation primarily carried out work in the form of service & repair jobs for customers undertaking repairs in Singapore or on vessels calling in Singapore ports. However, a considerable amount of work was also carried out for customers in overseas locations.

The Project & System Integration arm carries out the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and testing of custom-designed and purpose-built engineering control systems and instrumentation for our customers. Under this arm, we also supplied technical expertise to our customers to aid them on a project basis.

While we were offering our customers custom-designed and purpose-built control systems and control panels under the Total Automation brand name, we further expanded our design and manufacturing capability with the acquisition of world-renowned Whessoe marine and land-based LPG and LNG gauging systems in March 2001.

With these three segments of our business, Total Automation is able to offer our customers a TOTAL service package, from servicing and repairing an existing system, to designing and building a complete system from the ground up.
