Calibration Laboratory

Total Automation maintains fully equipped electronic and pneumatic calibration laboratories. These laboratories have been designed and established based on the requirements of the Group's customers. These laboratories are fully equipped with all necessary test equipment. All test equipment is certified and has traceability certificated which are updated at periodic intervals. These laboratories are used for the calibration of new instrumentation for projects and also for the calibration and set up of repaired equipment returned from customers’ plants, ships and rigs.

All service personnel are issued with test and calibration equipment which are regularly checked for accuracy in the calibration laboratory. All equipment calibrated is issued with a data sheet duly certified by the engineer performing the calibration and his immediate superior. Copies of these calibration sheets are maintained in the company's filing system and originals issued to customers.

Total Automation also maintains portable calibration laboratories in 20-foot cabins for the calibration of process instruments at sites. Every measuring element drifts over time and requires calibration. So these mobile laboratories have the correct test equipment to check the sensors, transmitters, controllers and receivers and other process loop parameters. These are calibrated on site with a minimum loss of time.
