An engineering, control and instrumental specialist—The
Total Automation Group is engaged in system design, equipment supply,
equipment packaging, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance
and upgrading of instrumentation and process control systems. The
Group’s operations also include engineering and manufacturing
capability in the design and manufacture of the world renowned Whessoe
marine and landbased LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and LNG (liquefied
natural gas) gauging systems.
These services are provided from the Group’s bases
in the Far East, Middle East and Europe to customers worldwide.

Founded in 1987, the
Group, whose operations span across the globe from the Far East and the
Middle East, to regions as far off as the U.S.A., South America and
Europe, services wide range of industries: the offshore, marine, power,
utilities, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and processing industries.
Total Automation was
the first control and instrumentation specialist to be listed on the
Singapore bourse initially being listed on Sesdaq in April 1999 and
upgraded to the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange in 2001. In
June 2006 the Group changed its name from Total Automation Ltd to Total
Automation Pte Ltd and became a totally owned subsidiary of Wartsila
Corporation of Finland.
